Our project was to choose an object which we could consider as a multiple but study in depth hoping to produce work from a different viewpoint. I chose butterflies which have been extensively represented in art so I worked hard to find new ideas. I worked in many different media. The project was in two parts and for the second part I looked more at metamorphosis, the chrysalis likening it to my own reinvention from veterinary surgeon to artist and designer.
